Background

My background combines UX design
and computer science.
As AI makes it faster to create apps and prototypes, I’m interested in understanding what is worth building. What problem does a product solve, who needs it, and what would make people choose to use it? I use AI in my own prototyping, and I see research and testing as essential to turning that speed into something useful.
My work spans digital interfaces, automotive controls and immersive experiences. For my MSc dissertation, Beyond Minimalism, I designed touchscreen climate and media interactions, integrated them within Goldsmiths’ existing cockpit simulator, and ran a mixed-methods study with 22 licensed drivers comparing touchscreen and physical controls. I analysed task results, workload measures and interviews to develop design recommendations.
I also built a literary VR experience in Unity, exploring physical actions and visual, audio and haptic feedback. These projects have developed my interest in human factors alongside interface design.
My experience as a family carer has shaped my interest in accessibility, clear information and interfaces that support independence.
My MSc coursework also included an audio-first commuter-support concept for neurodivergent users and an AI-assisted UX evaluation concept focused on explainability, trust and user control.
I submitted my MSc dissertation in User Experience Engineering in October 2026. Alongside my academic work, I build personal software and multiplayer game projects using AI-assisted development.
